SOME BUILD PICS
start out with frames on there side, boat cut down the middle
stip plank all rounded surfaces.flat areas (sides and deck) are one large foam plank, speeds up build time plus all foam is glassed with one layer of uni in the length wise direction before being edge glued then is glassed in the cross wise direction to link it all together
first half out and set aside for now...NOTE ONLY GLASSED ON THE INSIDE
lather, rinse, repeat....second half. All stations are turned 180 degrees and process repeated, front section glassed in the cross wise direction
throw in a few bulkheads and glue the halves together. the nice thing is now you can long block the foam prior to doing any glassing. this saves weight later when fairing the boat with filler
all glassed just add some fill and a couple hours of sanding...
and its paint time
screw on a few deck fittings and some bottom paint and we are done...simple, right?
